How do I book a tailor-made Sri Lanka holiday?

Contact our team and tell us your preferred travel dates, group size and interests. We design every journey from scratch — private chauffeur-guide, boutique hotels, and experiences tailored to you. Most itineraries are ready within 48 hours. Begin at rediscoversrilanka.com/contact/.

What is included in your private Sri Lanka tours?

Every private Sri Lanka tour includes: accommodation in boutique or luxury hotels, a dedicated English-speaking chauffeur-guide, all internal transport, daily breakfast, and the experiences listed in your itinerary. International flights, visas, most lunches and dinners, and gratuities are quoted separately. Full inclusions are confirmed in your personalised proposal.

Do you offer bespoke Sri Lanka itineraries?

Yes — every Rediscover Journeys itinerary is bespoke. There are no fixed group departures. Journeys range from 7 to 21 days and are built around your interests (wildlife, culture, wellness, tea country, coast), preferred pace, and hotel style. You approve each version before booking.

Is Sri Lanka safe for luxury travel?

Sri Lanka is a welcoming destination for luxury travellers, with low crime rates against tourists and a well-developed hospitality industry. Our team provides 24/7 on-the-ground support during your journey, and all chauffeur-guides are SLTDA-licensed. We monitor local conditions daily and adapt itineraries if needed.

What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?

The best time depends on the region. December to April is ideal for the south and west coasts (Galle, Mirissa, Colombo). May to September favours the east coast (Trincomalee, Pasikuda, Arugam Bay). The Cultural Triangle and hill country are visitable year-round. For a trip covering both coasts, we recommend late November to March.
