1. Use of the Website

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our website or make purchases.
• You are responsible for keeping your account login details confidential and for restricting access to your device.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration, inquiry, or checkout. Incorrect information may result in cancellation of your booking.
• You may not use our website for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes. Unauthorized use may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

2. Travel Packages and Services

• Rediscover Journeys offers custom travel itineraries, tour packages, and services in Sri Lanka. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all information on our website is complete or error-free.
• All travel packages are subject to availability. Prices may vary due to seasonal demand and other factors.
• You are responsible for following local laws, visa requirements, and health or safety advisories during your tour.

3. Bookings and Payments

• When you place a booking, you are offering to purchase selected travel services. All bookings are subject to confirmation by Rediscover Journeys.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking due to availability changes, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other reasons.
• Deposit: A non‑refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking. Once paid, the deposit is non‑refundable except where required by applicable law or if Rediscover Journeys cancels the tour without an acceptable alternative.
• Final Balance: The remaining 70% of the tour price is due no later than 60 days before the tour departure date. The exact due date will be shown in your booking confirmation.
• Full Payment Discount: If you choose to pay the full tour price at the time of booking, you will receive a 5% discount on the total tour price. This discount applies to the tour price only and excludes bank charges, payment gateway fees, optional extras, or later additions.
• You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize Rediscover Journeys to charge the required amount, including any applicable taxes and fees.
• Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers (PayPal or bank transfer). We do not store your full payment details.
• Bank Transfer: For bank transfer payments, your booking will be held provisionally for 48 hours. The booking is confirmed only once the payment is received in cleared funds. All bank charges, intermediary bank fees, and exchange‑rate differences are the responsibility of the traveller.

4. Pricing and Availability

• Prices may change without prior notice. The final price will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• Promotional offers and discounts are valid for limited periods and subject to specific terms, including booking and travel dates.

5. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected].

The 30% deposit is non‑refundable once the booking is confirmed. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the total confirmed tour price, not only on the amount paid at the time of cancellation.

The following cancellation fees apply:

Important: The deposit is non‑refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Rediscover Journeys cancels the tour and no suitable alternative is accepted.

If Rediscover Journeys needs to cancel or significantly modify your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, force majeure), we will offer you an alternative tour or a full refund of all amounts paid (including the deposit).

Some third‑party supplier fees (e.g., domestic flights, train tickets, entrance tickets, permits, safari arrangements, hotel deposits, peak‑season commitments, payment gateway fees, bank charges, visa fees) may be fully non‑refundable once confirmed.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical emergencies, accidents, trip interruption, lost baggage, and personal liability. Rediscover Journeys is not responsible for any financial losses, personal injuries, or medical expenses incurred during travel.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

Rediscover Journeys and its affiliates are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our website or participation in our tours. All services are provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties. We act only as an organiser and are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third‑party suppliers (hotels, transport companies, guides, etc.).

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, images, logos, graphics) is the property of Rediscover Journeys or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written consent.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you consent to that policy.

10. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka.
